I have all the vinyl records that the cassetes were recorded from. Some of those records have spun on the turn table just the one time. My vehicles are so noisy inside (road noise, etc) quality of the cassette isn't a problem. Besides, I typically sing along and if you ever heard my voice... you'd understand

Sounds like you would do great at our campfire. Usually a few guitars, bongos, etc, and though nobody has a great voice, we all have fun singing, and to us it all sounds just fine.

Jim -if you love Motown - there is an incredible video to rent sometime -- "Standing in the Shadows of Motown". It is the story of The Funk Brothers - the studio musicians behind all those hits.

Yes, seen it on PBS, greatest back up band if ever there was one….4 tops are my favorite singing with the Funk Bros, playing out of the little brownstone in Detroit, long before Berry Gordy decided to move to LA, which resulted in both of these 2 staying true to their roots and put in the Motor City.

I stumbled onto this DVD a few years back and was able to get it (with outside, no less) for about $10 (Amazon I think). I also got my hands on a used copy of the CD which is harder to find. Quite possibly my favorite recording in my entire collection!
