If you do not have spary foam the lift could be added down the road . E trailer sells the kit. I almost went that way But i have the foam and with 1 1/2 foam on the bottom it reduces tank clearance even more. I guess my point if i didn't have foam i would have not got the high lift and added it latter if i thought i had a need for it.

davidmurphy02, SWCO, and NEWYORKHILLBILLY - Thank you all for your responses.

I will mull them over. Although I'm going to go with a 21NE and won't have the truck rail issues that 5.0TAs have, my driveway looks almost as bad as davidmurphy02's driveway. I may just go with the normal height, as the stock height is pretty decent. If I have problems, I can get it lifted later, as NEWYORKHILLBILLY points out.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks.
I believe the recent Escape videos reveal the double step on one of the floor models, other wise as others have said you can carry a portable step platform. We do not have the hi rise option, but there are camping spots that drop off and we carry a spare step just in case, something like this that is adjustable ....

Over ten trailers and 17 years ago we purchased a step like that for the Jayco 5th wheel we had lifted 4". We've loved it for every trailer since then and "Won't leave home without it!"

Enjoy,

Perry

The double entry step that we are using is made by Elkhart Tool and Die model #920.
Hope that helps!

Above is the info I got from Linda at escape. I am in the process of installing this setup on my 21 and will post pic after the install
