Hey Jim, just met the nicest bunch of folks here who are holding a rally. They were all real friendly and want me to join their club. They are rolling with some kind of a bus named a Prevost. There’s about 12 or 15 of them here and I was thinking that since a lot of us already have nice Escapes maybe you would buy us all Prevost motor homes so we could attend more rallies together ? I don’t think they cost all that much if you’re a billionaire. How about it?
Rolling with the big dogs in KY.

They used to start at about million bucks each, and are commonly around two million now (if new). The base Prevost coach (such as an X3-45 VIP) was only about a third of a million the last time I checked, but it is probably more than half a million now (depending on model and number of slides), and few owners cheap out when having it finished as a motorhome. Of course, the ones in the photo are not new.

I don't need a Prevost. I could get by with just a Newell.

That "read your losing Lotto ticket" was pretty good. Fortunately it doesn't really resonate with me as much as it surely does with many folks; although I don't earn much, I do enjoy my work.

I knew they were pretty pricey and since I’d have to ask how much? I couldn’t
Afford one anyway. The 15 or so that are here are all shined up and look pretty nice. The last camper rally I happened on to was for Vixens.

I'm partial to "old" stuff and would get one of the Flxible Bus made in the 1940's. Saw one on the way to Osoyoos one year and it looked nice.

Hello,
C.P. we've never had the pleasure of meeting but did get to meet Dave, Bill and Tom at the Wild Frontier Rally, it was great to meet other Escape owners and BIG THANKS for all the great advice.

I'm not greedy, I'll take another Escape especially if your buying.

All the best and safe travels to all,

Steve

The way I was planning was to purchase from Escape their entire years production, any model you want, base price for any forum member. Options, tariffs and accessories including tv would be yours. Then you can sell your existing Escape and keep the proceeds. I estimate they make 400-450 units per year? "cpaharley2008 limited edition model", but if you do not want a another Escape and we meed on the road, I'll give you a tv allowance, how's that?

Sounds great! We’d all be asking your schedule so we could follow you! Sure fun to dream! Somebody’s going to win. I for one, wouldn’t mind a bit if it was you!

The problem is, as Mike Lewis points out is with the new found wealth comes new found problems, and anonymity would have it's good points. too many bad people out there who would try and do you harm hoping to get some of that wealth. The world needs more people like you Sandyb12, who wishes it can happen to yourself or others without any harm.

Here's the perfect solution for you, Jim. Years ago, my boss bought an old school bus, but then dropped in a 400 ci Olds/with a B&M turbohydro tranny, so he could carry the whole family, and also tow his Porsche-powered 4 seater sand rail.---------
So.... FlexibleBus with a Hemi and one of those new 10 speed trannies!! WooHoo. Oh, and install half a dozen horizontal DOT propane tanks underneath so you could keep it over a year.

I probably don't need another Escape, but perhaps I could trade my tv allowance for a coffee allowance? Then I could rejoice ever morning!

old busses like that are cool, but they are also a lot of mechanical trouble. I knew a band that toured around with a beautifully restored old Trailways bus (I forget the bus make), the diesel and transmission failed on them several times going between Oregon and California, causing them to be very late for major gigs.

ah, I found it.... this was when they arrived about 6 hours late to a music festival, missing their main stage gig due to a breakdown. they still put on a heck of a show, and marched all through camp

The March Fourth Marching Band, out of Portland, OR... this was at the Spring 2011 Strawberry Music Festival.
