Steven Colbert noted that often the jackpot is split. He bought two tickets with the same numbers so he could split the pot with himself.

Man, I just knew it was you. I’m so disappointed. Well maybe you’ll hit tonight.
Great to spend some time with you in Tennessee last week.

But yes, Mike is right, one would have to become anonymous to prevent harm from those less fortunate.
Jim, the NYC fire department's fiscal 2018 budget alone was @ $1.98 billion.

Hi Jim
When you made the comment about your city’s budget, I had to look it up and learn a little about the town you call home. I consulted the totally reliable source Wikipedia and the York City Website. Whoever did the research on luminaries from York did a very thorough job with the exception of a well known RV trader and The World’s least reliable propane customer. With a 2018 budget of 104 million, a big time lottery win and ensuing donation might get you on the list of Famous folks from York and probably your own set of barbells. Have a good day

That is a lot, being a Blue Bloods tv addict, I wonder what the NYC police budget for the 35,000 employees is?

Yes, I thought of paying a years tax bill for everyone if I won, but alas I will blend into obscurity, there is always tomorrow....
