Bargain
This morning I went up to the mailbox. My neighbor was getting ready to leave for work. He came over to me and said he had a big flat screen TV he’d sell me for a dollar. Said the only thing wrong with it was that the volume was stuck on high.
I thought to myself “ Well I can’t turn that down”.

If you can't turn that down, then how are you going to turn down that second helping of pumpkin pie with ice cream?!?

I’m always a sucker for the 1/2 piece of pie
I/2 piece of pumpkin
1/2 piece of pecan
1/2 piece of apple
And so on and so forth
Happy Thanksgiving

In our house we like to have "All nine kinds of pie that Harold liked best" (cf. Harold and the Purple Crayon). I have to work on even smaller slices. But then, there's pie for breakfast. . .

Hi: Iowa Dave... A deal like that would just leave me "Flat"!!!
At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to use a pie iron?
My Dad always said "Cut the pie in half and give everyone 2 pieces!!! Alf

Seems to me that a pie is already flat, so why does one need an iron?

Mom said to me “Do you want this pie cut into six pieces or eight? I told her 6, I don’t think I could eat eight. We make pie iron hot turkey sandwiches at Teresa’s on Friday night over the camp fire. Somebody usually scalds their mouth. ( when they bite the iron )

I got a deal on 55" flat screen TV because the speakers "died".
I plugged in a soundbar that we had lying around.
Still using that TV today, watching TCU vs Baylor

Good thought. The problem is probably with the remote control or something that can be fixed by resetting the TV. EZ fixes if you like troubleshooting.
