Break-in trip 8200 miles

Well, only half of it was after we picked up our new 5.0 June 15. Spent the next two weeks exploring Washington, Oregon, N. California, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and home state Illinois.
Whew, lots of driving but tons of fun. Pulling the 5.0 with our new Silverado 1500 3.0 diesel. Pulls like a dream, good mileage (over 20mpg average on 4200 miles).
Almost every night someone would stop by the campsite and want to see the trailer. Many were experienced campers of retirement age wanting to downsize from a huge 5th wheel or longish bumper pull.
We've named the 5.0 "Wild Thing" and her truck is "Lil' Red". I'm a little worried about Wild Thing. She seems to like strange men looking up her skirt. Hmmm
Seriously, as most of you already know, campers are some of the friendliest folks around. Met so many nice people on our first trip. Only saw a couple of other Escapes which surprised me.

ETI should have something along these lines in their marketing materials....."Need a friend? Buy an Escape and go camping, you'll have more new friends than you know what to do with!"
