Dave, we've never met but I feel like I know you from all your helpful posts here on the forums.
My Dad and Granddad both had that cancer. Its amazing the strides they've made since my Dad's battle 35 years ago.
So happy to hear you are planning a trip. I'm sure it will do you good. We will pray for your recovery.

David - It is indeed so heartening to read your post! We have never met but I was very sad to hear the original prognosis and am so happy to read this positive news! All the best to you and your wife - and have a great time camping!

We are in SLC - so do get in touch if you need anything or visit this area.

Wonderful

I am so happy for you. It is wonderful how far they have come with liver and pancreatic cancer in the 12 years since I lost my husband. We haven’t met but maybe we will meet on the road in the future. Remember, attitude plays a big part. God Bless.

Didn't realize I was holding my breath while I read your note. Now I can breathe again...

I hope you will come visit with the campground host at Capitol Reef this fall. You just might recognize the Escape 21. Since I know you're coming, we'll bake a - cake, pie, brownies, or something to fatten you up!

So very good to hear that David, some really good news is always welcome!
Capitol Reef has become my favorite park, we were there earlier this year. We had been there before but didn't dig deeper into the park. May get back again this summer, if we can get a couple of days in the campgrounds in the park. Two recommendations in Torrey, Etta's Place for hard cider and Hunt Gather restaurant, outstanding meals.
Stay well my friend.

Great news, David. All the best into the future.

While I am very happy to have survived cancer, it is just as nice to hear of success with others.

Wonderful news David. Your optimism and positive attitude have always shone through on this forum, and they really have in your battle with this cancer. My cousin is one of the lucky ones, she seems to have beaten the odds in her battle with pancreatic cancer and while they never say cured, she is in her third year of getting better and better. Even though we haven't met she reminds me of you; cheerful, helpful and optimistic like you.
Continuing to remember you in our prayers and we hope your fall trip is the best one yet.

A dear friend recently received the same diagnosis you did in March, David. I sent him a copy of your posting. I'm sure it's the first time I've seen him smile in the past month. Thank you for sharing.
