Steve, Jake is a French Brittany with an incredible sense of smell. His Dad is the Spanish grand champion field trialer. He picks up an odor and his inhale exhale rate sounds like a locomotive. We had a Seaman Road Tiller that was used to rip up seal coated roads. It had a Waukesha engine and was chugging along pretty good when a piston wrist pin let loose and the connecting rod punched a hole through the engine block. When Jake picked up that feedlot smell from four miles away, he reminded me of that old Waukesha.
