Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends in the United States from all of us in Canada!
Now we just need someone with photoshop to replace the body of a turkey with that of an Escape sitting on a festive dining room table.

We have much to be thankful for.
Truth, compassion and human decency are about to come back in style.
Perhaps an open border is next? By April or May?

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, too!
Though my brother and his family with two high-school age kids, my 94-years-young mother, and I are all within 30 miles of each other we've opted to remain isolated and apart out of an abundance of caution. We just had a great family conference call to give thanks for our many blessings and express hopes for everyone's continued good health and better days when we can finally gather as a family in confident security again.
I can only offer similar best sentiments for everyone here, and sincerely do!
Y'all stay safe and take care of each other best you can!

Yes, even though it's a time of hardship and grief for some we all have a lot to be thankful for. Enjoy Thanksgiving as best you can during these troubled times.
Always a little jarring for us Canadians with our Thanksgiving being much earlier than yours. Many Canadians are now in full pre-Christmas mode. Don't know why there's still about 28 days left before you have to do any Xmas shopping.

Happy Thanksgiving all. Sure will be nice to get back to family gatherings, just the 2 of us this year. Kind of depressing cooking a 5 lb turkey breast for Thanksgiving.

Yes it might be depressing but with good practices in place all of our families will still be here to talk about it this time next year.
Every time I get to feeling down I think of all the brave men and women that have gone to war over the years for us and what they had to endure for years...if they lived.
I am happy to have a roof over my head, food, water and my warm bed to sleep in.
Everybody take care.

Happy Thanksgiving
Just like our outgoing president I pardoned an Iowa Turkey today. I said “Pardon me while I cut your drumstick off with this here filet knife.” I like yams and grits but I’m not from the south. We had a 16 lb bird for the two of us. Mashed potatoes were out of the garden Yukon Golds and Lasoda Reds. Onions out of the garden were Walla Wallas. Corn was from Johnnys’s in Maine that got flattened by the derecho. After dinner Jake and I went for a walk in the pheasant ground west of us. Saw 8 roosters and a nervous hen.
Then the sun went down and I was thankful for another day, my wife who is my best friend, our dog, my family and all of our friends throughout North America. Be careful, there are better days ahead.
Iowa Dave
