I use mine outdoors. Has a built in wind screen and comes in a plastic case. If rain is in the forecast I set the case on top of it.
How is yours different?

Ah I did see I made a mistake and the case is included in yours. So I haven’t seen yours ergo, I with draw my comments. Mine is the Japanese version and the construction quality of the actual frame seems better than the ones I’ve seen in REI. It was a little more expensive though. It’s easy to admit I’m wrong, it happens frequently.

You can pay as little as $26.99 CAD for a butane stove at an Asian market. I went top of the line Japanese. Asian market is a good place to buy the butane canisters too.

I was lucky to find the one I did, as it’s no longer for sale that I can find. This particular model was recommended by a nice man who viewed our escape. Btw they ended up with a 5.0 and I got my check last month. The itawani Japan made models are definitely the best .

I see a whole bunch of different stoves at that link. I suspect I got redirected to Canadian site. If you do a screen grab and post it, I'll know which one.

It was designed for the Japanese market perhaps. I did buy it from Amazon, but that was last year and can’t see it anymore. I think it shipped from Japan. It’s beefy in it t’s construction. I can’t read Japanese as the manual is exclusively written in that language. The man who recommended it gave me the model number and I found it. Alas it’s not to be found. Though the one you linked to looks very well made also.
I remember that this one was designed as a camp version ergo the beefy construction. I love the control and butane burns hotter.

Ditto. And, the sooner I get my coffee in the morning, the better.

I kinda wish I could use boredom as an excuse for anything. Life is just so darn busy with the many things I have on the go. I do like it that way for the most part, just would like to go somewhere on a holiday for a while. Just have to finish that kitchen for my brother, fence and landscaping for my daughter, and all the work I need done at the place we moved to. Some day.
