Lol, I can relate, Jim, but shopping for the 'anticipatory acquisitions' does somewhat relieve the boredom / waiting, at least for me.

Your post prompted me to check - I actually placed my first 'anticipatory order' (Fabulous Operating Products SAM-1-81 Range Hood Upgrade Kit) 13 days before I put down the deposit on my 5.0

And oh my, the pile of boxes has *REALLY* grown since honing-in on my battery/solar mods these last few months!

I know from reading here you're well-practiced (if not THE absolute expert) at this gig, though perhaps previous delivery leads have been shorter. Hang in there, you obviously know better than anyone that the payoff will be pure joy!

I am glad I am not the only one shopping early! Our ETA for our 5.5 is 12/22, seems so far. away!!! 21c is running about 4 months sooner.

Hi Michelle- so you did go 21C vs. NE. What was your deciding factors?

We actually ordered the 5.0. I did look at 21c, no 21ne near me. After much consideration, it was between 5.0 and 21c.

21ne-The kitchen counter has a lot more space and the bathroom is 7" bigger than the others. More kitchen storage. Downside full-size bed with a custom corner.

We chose the 5.0 for a couple of reasons... easier towing and a queen size bed with a little more privacy. My husband preferred it. Most of the time there will be either 2- 3 of us.

Other factors...
21ne sleeps 5 with a bigger dinette

Good luck!!!
Hope this helped.

Ummmm, you've described the 21C. Not the 21NE.

Oops, I meant 21c has more counter space and a bigger bathroom, not 21ne. We were not able to see the 21ne there are none near us in CA.

After 4 years the shopping goes on: Wireless Propane gauge, Levelmate Pro, Tireminder, new battery disconnect switch, Butane cook top and grill, Induction cooktop, Outside Kitchen. It was a covid shopping spree.
Upcoming Inverter, maybe new batteries, maybe a new WD hitch.

Fun however !!!

If you shop early, you have plenty of time for returns.

Sure it’s an Iwatani CB-0DX-1. It comes with case. The docs were in Japanese. I think I got it on Amazon. Very well made. There are a lot of similar stoves for sale, but this one was the best I’ve seen.
