I knew this would happen...

Buying that "SnoJoe" has resulted in record warmth here on the east coast, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees this week?? The "kiss of death" to snow removal activity. It sits, unused in a corner, looking outside, hoping.....NOT!!

That's 'cause you're in "balmy" southern PA. Cruise up the river to Lycoming County: https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...9&lon=-77.0014

Edit: on second look, the forecast in your area looks promising for Sunday. Did you pack "sno-Joe" away already. (Punxsutawney Phill said not to!)

Don't pack that SnoJoe away just yet. We're headed to "balmy southern PA" tomorrow for the Great American Outdoor Show and hope to have some nice weather for the trip.

I don't know about "balmy souther PA", but it is clear blue skies & 75°F here at the Quartzsite Gathering. (Not that I'm rubbing it in )

Now they are calling for near 60 degrees next week? Unbelievable for February weather. This may mean a hot summer ahead.....

meanwhile here on the mid-left coast, we got less than 1 inch of rain at the beginning of January, and 0 inches so far in February, these are normally the wettest months of the year.

The drought that has enveloped southwestern North America for the past 22 years is the region's driest megadrought—defined as a drought lasting two decades or longer — since at least the year 800, according to a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change
