Nest neighbours

We arrived Friday at Big Lagoon SP by Pensacola to find next door but one to us is the first Airstream Nest owned by Dale and Pam who are fulltiming in it and currently camp hosts here. They love their Nest. We had a tour.

Did the astronomy club guys come out and set up their telescopes at Big Lagoon on Saturday night? I didn't come over due to the prediction of bad weather, but it wasn't as bad as predicted and I saw some stars out at home late that night.

Mike I heard talk of them coming but don’t know if they did. After doing the 3.5 mile hike round the park yesterday we stayed in last night.

So what was your impression of the Nest?

Jim, we liked it but would never spend that much money for such a small trailer. No sink in the bathroom which is more cramped than Escapes, fairly good counter space since it was the model with the u-shaped leather couch which they have to make into a bed, they said that's not an onerous job. It is bright and airy inside with the big front window and lots of side windows as well. Beth says lots of cupboards for the size. The quality is certainly there.

Hi: emers382... I wonder if they were the "Nesters" we saw at Ocala Nat. Forest? Never got a lookit though!!! In the middle of nowhere and 2 Escapes, 2 Casitas an Oliver and a Nest. Whodathunkit? Alf
