I've seen those fold up sinks in European caravans and think would be one item ETI should look at for future trailers.

Keeping in mind that they have more moving parts to break or wear out.

Although branded "Hymer" here, this design is part of Hymer's Eriba line in Europe: Eriba Touring
The Euro and North American models are not identical - for one thing, the Eriba traditionally had aluminum walls, not fiberglass.

The Eriba frame is galvanized; my guess is that this one is, too.

The spare is listed as an option, so there may not be one on the trailer shown. The Eriba spare is mounted under the floor at the rear.

Yes Brian I have been following them and other great trailers not available in Canada for a few years. Some have great ideas and products they have put into place.

Galvanized frame and the tire mount under is great. Wish it had a great bumper like the Escape but not many trailers do these days.

Here is another question for you. Since the waste tank is inside...pull and pour as I like to call it, is the fresh and grey inside as well? That would be a plus in cold weather.

Having kneeled in six inches of mud, wrestling the spare from under my Jeep Grand Cherokee Chief, while wind driven sleet assailed me, I'll pass on the tire under mount.

Not very convenient when you have to retract the awning in the middle of the night...of course what awning.
I think you could do something different for a single bed or two short kids.
I guess it doesn’t matter if you travel solo or as a couple. You’ll be in the rear bed which is almost a king.

How does the person against the wall in the bed get to the bathroom? LOL....old people problems....

The same way one does in a 19' Escape ... which is why we now have a 21'.

True, a cassette toilet should avoid freezing the black waste. I haven't found the grey waste tank - and I suspect it's under the floor - but a web page for the Euro version shows the fresh water tank on top of the floor, in the dinette seat beside the bathroom (basically where Escape puts part of the black tank in a 17' or 19').

Having never needed to use the spare for a trailer, or the underfloor spare for our van, or the under-box spare in the pickup truck we had, or the non-existent spare that our motorhome doesn't have, I'm not concerned about the location... and it's good for stability (and for mounting stuff on the back of the trailer if you want to sacrifice that stability). But it would be a pain to use if it's ever needed.

Note the pillows at the back wall...you don’t sleep side to side as in an Escape 19. The bed is an end loader.

Now that is strange ... Maybe the pillows are there just for looks? No, look at where the throw is on the bed. It's at the foot of bed in both the photo of the bed and in the photo of the stove top.

They say it is 75 inches long by 73 wide.

I think we are confusing the two trailers. The inTech Sol that started the thread has a similar back bed to the 19 Escape and you sleep across the width of the trailer. The Hymer GT550 that then became part of the conversation has a rear bed that is nearly a king and can be slept on in-line with the long dimension of the trailer.

The first pic is the Sol. The second photo is the Hymer.

I found the cassette toilet very easy to use in my T@da and easily converted to use in the winter with automotive windshield fluid. With no grey tank the T@da was perfect for winter camping.

Yes, I was looking at the Sol. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing the links to the latest trailers... I must say that while some of them are cute and seem nice enough; I still think they don't come close to the comfort, layout and features the Escape trailers have... and, no matter where we go, our trailer (we have a 19) gets so many looks of curiosity and admiration; it only confirms we made the right decision (a decision that took us through one year of RV shows, visiting with folks who own trailers, etc. So far, so good... happy trailer Warren & Maria

A major manufacturer in the region is reportedly laying off at least 90 employees.
Employees say the notices were handed out on Monday morning at Erwin Hymer Group, a motorhome and caravan company that also owns the Kitchener business Roadtrek.
A letter given to an employee and obtained by CTV says a recent economic downturn was not anticipated and resulted in a drop in sales.
Hymer North America's problems were not just an economic downturn. There was also a huge scandal involving their executives. The end result is that Thor's purchase of Hymer has excluded Hymer North America, leaving this Roadtrek/Hymer operation an orphan with an uncertain future. I wouldn't bet on the Made-In-Canada Hymer trailer surviving.

Of course, there's always a Leisure Van: https://leisurevans.com/unity/floorplans/. Queen bed (Murphy, no less), dry bath, kitchen w/pantry, large screen TV, etc., etc., and it's only 25' long. Of course, you'll pay a tiny bit more ....
