I don't know which one you got, but I was surprised to see that this company sells a battery-operated snowblower of a significant size, close to the size of my gas-engine machine. The 100-volt 24" machine would be a usable size for me, although I'm not convinced that either the 4 kW for the blower or the 500 W for propulsion would be adequate; my snowblower is wider (28") so it needs about 17% more power, but it has about three times as much power available. Mine is also much heavier, so I would wonder about traction with the Snow Joe machine.

It appears that Jim will get to try it out this weekend. Never mind the theory that buying the snowblower will keep the snow away.

Yes, we got about 5" last night, going to wait til day break and break in the SnoJoe...... I still have a huge gas snow blower in my garage which I need to decide whether to keep. It has not been used for several years since I pay the neighbor kid beer money to sweep my front walks.

About 5-6" in Bucks County also. Was hoping your purchase would've saved me for the winter. Alas....

Amazing. That SnoJoe really seems to be working!
Here I was imagining you in the driveway using the SnoJoe, and then coming in to a hot CuppaJoe. Not to be, yet.

Better than a ground hog on Feb 2, thank you!!
I gave the gas snow blower to a friend since it was too heavy for me to run by myself. I have been thinking about getting the electric SnoJoe but am a bit concerned about the plastic blades not being up to the challenge of a Wisconsin winter. Suggestions?

No don't sell it. or we will all have more snow. Just keep it in the box on a shelve in the garage.

I know you guys back east of us are firing up them snow blowers today but us here in NM got a pathetic 7 inches of snow last night. All light and fluffy, hardly worth breaking out a shovel. (It did, however, go down to 2 degrees F.)

It looks like a nice day for a picnic!
Enjoy Myron.
Got a foot last night.

6 inches here, and we're really needing the moisture; it's been too dry.
Good thing I didn't buy a snow blower, or it would have missed us.

Around here in Wisconsin, we tend to refer to 7" of snow as a "dusting". But not this year. Locally, we're smack dab in the middle of a drought. One that's been persisting for months. We keep missing the storms and precip. but we will be below 0 F the next couple of nights. That's OK. That cold keeps the riff-raff out.
And so it goes.
