Wow from zucchini to spam to fruit trees to distillers and vineyards, you guys are making me hungry and thirsty, never mind yearning to travel again on a train. As a boy with my dad working for the railway we did all our traveling by rail.

Wow, sounds great. With all those suggested stops, I have to have my wife be the full-time designated driver.
Maybe I can ride in the back with my nose and hands pressed to the window glass watching trains, like when I was 4 or 5.

My Grandparents on my Dad's side lived in Ely, Nevada. You may be familiar with the Nevada Northern Railway. My Grandfather lived a couple blocks from the train depot and used to work on the engines in their maintenance shop.

Another "must see" if you are a train buff!
