My husband has a CPAP and I just got some distilled water at Target on Power & McKellips the other day. Also, saw some at Sprout's on Recker & 202 (Longbow) last week.

Distillled means it was boiled, the vapor collected, and recondensed. The 'distilled' water is just the water that was condensed. It leaves behind the minerals, and is pretty pure water.

If you collect the steam and let it cool back into water, it will be distilled. If you just let the steam boil off, then you still have all the salts and minerals that were in the water, only a bit more concentrated. Boil it long enough, and you will have killed off the bugs, though.

Our friends in Mesa went to Fry's Sunday morning before coming to visit us, they had just restocked Sat. night. He bought us two gallons, now we're set.

Funny story today stopped at Costco SW Tucson this afternoon on the way to Kartchner Caverns SP. I had parked beside a truck carrying bikes on the back. When we came out the couple was by their truck and greeted us, saying they had a 5.0TA and were at Catalina State park. We had a quick visit.

austere; meager: an elegantly sparse chamber

scarce
