I'll help move the average up - 76, 77 in September, although when I purchased my 21 I was 72.

We became 3rd owners of our 5.0 in September of 2019, bought it in Calgary from Fred Lew (flew).
I am closer to 81 than 80, Maureen much younger.
Still tripin.

Average age

I'd say the average age of an Escape owner is about 25; at heart!

I will be 61 in two weeks and just put a deposit down on a 5.0. So I guess I'll be about 64-65 when I get it?

Outliers

My husband and I may be the odd outliers to ruin the average, but we are 36 and 39. We hope to still use it for years and years!

We were 66 and 67 when we got a Scamp. After 2 seasons we got an Escape 17B, and now at 70 and 71 have a 19’. We camp with several couples who range from 64-74. What can I say? Geezers rock!!

Bought our 17B at 45, now 47 and definitely know I made the right choice in trailers...my neighbor had a roof leak in his stick built TT and got a quote for $15,000 to repair! Now, I'm watching him tear half the front of the trailer apart himself...it doesn't look like fun

I'm old enough to remember Jack Benny's joke about being a (permanent) 39.

Hi: MyronL... I remember doing my best Jack Benny impression at the Canadian Border crossing. The female officer asked me "What was the purpose of your vacation". Never look a gift cannon in the muzzle!!!

We will be 71 and almost 74 when we pick up our 5.0TA in September. Our 21 year old stick-built Arctic Fox 5th wheel has been having more and more problems, until we finally realized we'd be grounded in a couple of years when it cratered. Ever the optimists, we decided to go for the gold this time, with a brand new Escape!
