I had to stop hunting moose when I turned 80. It became too difficult to carry them out on my back over rough ground.

my step father quit sail boat racing when he was 90 and at 94 finally sold his sail boat. My mom at 90 was having trouble jumping onto the deck to tie off. Against my advice he still gets on a ladder to pick figs ....i hope to be as healthy as they are!!!

Nope he just moved on, he loved the dandelions and the small Aspen saplings. He would get on his front "knees" put his mouth sideways on the tree and strip all the leaves of of a small Aspen as he stood up. He was back the following spring again.
Magnificent animals. Not too much bothers them.

I still remember watching Hockey Night in Canada as a young lad and marveling at the skills those 'old' guys had.

Agree! Bobby Hull at 50 years old skating with players younger than half his age! He was a bad ass!

Just turned 87. Gonna celebrate by going up to Kingsville (got a room reserved) and going to the local beer joint and ride the bull.

The young folks tolerate me.
