Smile Looking for an older 17b in BC, Lower Mainland

Hello Escape owners,

We are ready to buy your older 17b. We have been looking for some time, and are ready to take the plunge into fiberglass trailer ownership. We are Canadians, thus, will be looking at CND dollars-we know it's not in our favour right now...but are still hopeful.

We are located in the Lower Mainland area, only a hop, skip and a jump to Escape Trailer headquarters in Chilliwack, BC....and we would happily meet you if you're driving North while upgrade to a new rig.

Features we would love (but obviously won't be picky being as it's a used rig) are:
Bike rack ready
High lift axel
Front storage box

We are putting good vibes out there, and hope that we find our 17b sooner rather than later.

Thanks everyone! And please message us if you're considering selling.

I suggest not worrying too much about this suspension lift. It's quite practical to add later, if the trailer you find doesn't already have it and you decide you really want it. The other two features in this list are more difficult or expensive to add.

Good luck in your search!

Thanks Brian. We are hopeful that we will find a 17b before we head into the spring. We would love to make our spring and summer camping plans a firm reality in a "new to us Escape"... Regardless of features. But I'm glad the making it a high lift axel is 'doable' as we've got a 4Runner trail edition which gives us greater ground clearance. We'll have to scowler the forum for a 'how to'

Good luck in your quest. Hope you find what you are looking for as you say "sooner rather than later". The good vibes have made it way down here to Texas so I think your are on the right path.

we are very happy that we went with high-lift axel due to
having to board Alaska state ferry ramps with steepness subject
to tides and also that we have found just rite amount of
clearance on some driveways...good luck in your search-17b
a very good fit for us...

fgunderson,
Thanks for your feedback about ferry approaches...we were in Newfoundland last summer and watched a trailer being backed off the ramp because the approach was too steep...we would definitely like a little bit more clearance. Thanks for confirming this for us.

Hi - we have a 17B we're just discussing to sell. It's a 2014, excellent condition with front storage box. Let me know if you're still looking.

Hi BCnomad,
We won't be able to make it to the May rally, I'm leading a 6 night outdoor backpacking trip, and won't be back in time...maybe next year, or if there's another one at another time of the year....I hope we can get to one sooner than later.
