Hi. I am looking for a 19' escape. I live in NC, but willing to travel. Joe

You're luckier than some people who were looking for them in the past. I don't know what the record time is between one being posted and then a post saying that it was sold is but the time was measured in a few hours. There's more available now but they still sell quickly so do your mental homework, know what your bottom line will be and be ready to move quickly.

Good luck,

Ron

Keep in mind not many were built prior to 2013. An expansion in 2017 really increased the build rate. If you find one, go immediately and get it. I gave up looking. After selling our Escape 17b, we looked at other manufactures and decided we would only be happy with an Escape.

Best of Luck

Used Escapes for sale of any year or size are like unicorns on the East Coast. If a 19 comes up for sale and looks nice with good pictures and is in your price range I would PM/call/email immediately. Negotiate a small deposit to hold the trailer. If you take the time to go look it over it will most likely be gone. Found ours in Virginia and said we wanted it sight unseen. After the initial shock of the owner and convincing him it wasn’t a scam we were first in line. Several other potential buyers lined up right behind us. Worst case you lose your deposit. Best case you now own an Escape.

Yup. I’d agree. If you are happy with the price put a deposit down to secure it right away otherwise it’ll be gone. We missed more than one purchase that way.

Probably not a record but our 2010 19 sold in 11 hours. We had a call right away. The lady offered less than we were asking and we declined. She said “I’ll check back with you in a few days”. In a few more hours it was sold,
picked up and living in Wisconsin. Our buyer had a newer Casita which he sold in a similar short time, less than a day. Best of luck, you’ll get one.

I have kept track of, at least, the ones I see on this forum. For quite a while, there was a record of 68 minutes between posting of an Escape For Sale, and the "Sold" post. Then, recently, the a record was set of 51 minutes. 11 hours isn't bad though!

If you're looking, and you find one, you'd better have been prepared, with a list of druthers and must-haves, and cash set aside and ready.

Hi Don
Probably wasn’t bad time considering I posted it about 10:00 PM CDT and the First Lady who called was from Salt lake City. (Damn auto correct thought it was Mitt Romney’s wife and that Mitt had won). Then first thing in the morning the gentleman who said he’d take it and would be down to put a deposit down later in the morning was from LaCross Wisconsin. Had a couple calls after that but once I got the deposit I posted it as Sold.

Was out in the yard about dark last night and heard the Union Pacific about 4 miles south of us hi balling through a crossing and the horns going . There are about 4
Crossings within earshot so I hear them pretty often when the wind is out of the south. Nothing like it.
