Not saying this is the case here but I have run across that with a few sellers now on the escape site. They just either stop talking or don’t bother to send a courtesy reply if a deal is already in progress.

Not all inquiries went that way but quite a few did…….I wish you luck and hope you find a good one!

I sent an inquiry today as well. No response.

We thought we had a deal for a used 2018 E19, but it fell apart today, leaving us bereft. Seller decided to keep his trailer, so I decided to keep our Casita, which I had just advertised yesterday, telling a likely buyer to cancel his visit.

We're still in the market for an E19 or E21C. So is the rest of the world, it seems.

I put my 19 up for sale last summer and was overwhelmed within an hour of people wanted to buy it. My trailer basically sold in an hour after posting I can understand the sellers lack of response I had 50 plus people wanting my trailer I just decided to go with the first response to buy. Good luck to all that are looking for used, they sell really fast as most Escape owners take really good care of them.

While you’re waiting to find your Escape trailer, I thought you might be interested in this recent forum thread (wonder why I thought that ):

Maybe you thought, "Go jump in the lake"?

Or "Stop chasing the unobtainium and go fishing"?

Well, we don't have kayaks, and we don't fish, but we do have three canoes, two ancient but very serviceable aluminum (a Grumman and a Browning Marine), plus a Wenonah kevlar, which is easier to lift onto the Expedition. We're basically lake paddlers, and I carry my camera.

And we can continue to do short trips in the Casita, so yes, good advice.

The Escape sold -- transaction completed today. A little FYI, we, too, did the Casita-Escape route. Casitas are good, but we were much happier with the 21'. Excellent trailer.
I had mentioned that we were trying to move from Casita to Escape, and just had a potential deal fall through.

Changed from 21C search to 17B. Ready to purchase 17B immediately if available. Smaller and more fuel efficient to tow compared with the 21C. Will travel for pickup on the eastern USA.

Best places to look for Casitas are:

The Casita Forum: https://www.casitaforum.com/invboard/

FiberglassRV Forum: https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/

Fiberglass RV's For Sale: https://www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com

Unlike Escapes, there are a fair number of Casitas coming and going. I had our Spirit Deluxe on the market for two days—had a buyer coming from a couple hundred miles away yesterday, but had to cancel the appointment and pull the ads. Why? Because a deal I thought we had for an Escape 19 disappeared when the seller changed his mind. We use the Casita for overnights when traveling to Virginia, and for short camping trips or festivals, so I didn't want to be without a camper at all.

I don't expect it would be hard to find a twin-bed Casita, though they are scarce on the East coast.

Thanks for the fast information. This is like buying discount airline tickets that are available only for a few hours at most.
