I'm hoping they accept Walgreen type tests. This is from their website regarding test sources.

Walgreens is where our daughter and her eldest received tests last week before her trip here Friday. She is currently at our son's who is away for the two weeks which she wouldn't have had to do now after Aug. 9 but she had to finally make her decision to visit as her daughter returns to school Aug. 17. At the end of the month we'll have all our nine grandchildren in town, we can hardly wait.

For those that are interested here is a link to a set of charts comparing Covid-19 infections by US state and CDN province over time. Tells quite a story.

Well the border is opening but one way only, the US has extended the closure until Aug. 21, no change for us Canadians wanting to go to the US. I guess it's OK for Americans to visit us then go home but we still cannot go there.

I wouldn't mind being stranded in Calgary, or maybe Halifax.

“The United States will not lift any existing travel restrictions “at this point” due to concerns over the highly transmissible Covid-19 Delta variant and the rising number of US coronavirus cases, the White House confirmed on Monday.

The decision comes after a senior level White House meeting late on Friday. It means that the long-running travel restrictions that have barred much of the world’s population from the United States since 2020 will not be lifted in the short term”

Many side affects from the covid vaccine seem to be getting pulled off the information sites.[
Who is doing the pulling? A secret cabal of government agents?

It would be more than a shame if the millions that are now experts on vaccines and suddenly have total trust in big pharma were wrong, or we are afraid due to societal pressures to at least question.
To date there have been over 16,800 scientific publications related to COVID-19. These must have been the ones which snuck by the censors.
