Thumbs down CA state parks to stay closed all May

Just read an article saying that [after the crowds went to the beach last weekend], Governor Newsom issued an order to put all CA state parks and beaches closed all May

Meanwhile in a different article, President Trump has said "all federal restrictions will expire May 1st, as planned".

I'm on the Monterey Bay in Cali, and last weekend was a bit crazy at the beaches as we are just over the hill from the Bay Area. Hopefully by the end of May they will start reopening. As far as the Feds go, with National Parks, the website said there will be a phased reopening, and to check the individual park's website for details. Park officials generally work within the constraints of the local county they are located in, so here in CA in my area, the State Park officials follow local guidelines.
