Hi: brightday... My recipes are all "More or less". Just as some ovens cook hotter than others, you need to "Read between the lines". More of one, or less of another. It's personal!!! Alf

Alf, no problem at all with that! You provided enough quantities for me to easily extrapolate with regard to the rest. My comment was intended to point out that a photo alone would have given me nothing from which to begin. That said, I'm a rather seasoned cook, and what I don't already know about that fine art is fairly easily discovered via Google these days. I'm always looking for new ideas -particularly during this period of isolation - and am looking forward to hitting the road with some of them. Bon appetit!

Tonites dinner, buttermilk biscuits covered with rotisserie chicken and noodles and peas in a chicken gravy. I made a trip to the store and got a couple of items.

I've been making pizza on a pizza stone in the oven but just got a Lodge Cook-it-all and tomorrow or Saturday I try pizza with that! Still have enough yeast for pizza dough though I'd better find more soon. I also discovered that if I refrigerate the dough after rising it becomes refrigerator pizza dough as long as I use it pretty soon. Plus the dough works for morning cinnamon rolls. We may not be camping but I'm going to work on my technique anyway.
I also finally made a decent (almost) pie crust and need to try that again to make a really good rhubarb pie.
Also found a great new way to cook my asparagus- roasted with olive oil and parmesan cheese.
The garden is planted with tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and carrots (more of those to come) but not much in the way of salad greens as a friend of mine always has way more than he can use. Raspberries and strawberries are coming along, too, and should be here in June and July.

Had our 1st picking of asparagus yesterday, cooked it the same way.
The only things in the garden, other then the asparagus, are snap peas that are only about 2"s tall, and a couple hears. Too early for toms and such, expecting snow Saturday.

Jim, all your images of food you prepared look very nice. I get hungry looking at them. It looks like you really enjoy cooking.
The only problem I see is; I will NEVER let a green pea cross my lips.
Read my lips, no green peas. Do you guys eat peas?

Stab the blueberries with the fork, smear it all up and gobble it down.

Hi: UncleTim... It's a good thing we're all different Eh? You won't eat fresh green peas... but you will eat sour milk!!!
My mom used to put raisins in the oatmeal to disguise the lumps... but it didn't work. I knew they were there. Alf

I'd be okay with peas if they were a different shape, I do like pea soup. Don't care for couscous for the same reason, little buggers always end up all over the place.

Hi: UncleTim... If its any concilation... my son won't either. I maintain he was made to drink Soy formula as a baby due to Lactose intolerance. The smell of soy turns my innards too. Alf
