It must be contagious because here is another factual helpful , useful ,thread that has been infected / contaminated with poorly disguised, opinionated ,political BS .
I want to know which parks are open and what rules they are operating under , what I don’t
want or need is your opinion on the rules or their enforcement.
Logic or BS ?

Hi Steve, I found this site, can’t speak to its accuracy. Iowa Stare parks are this time are all open. They did put out a press release that anyone with reservations can cancel and get their money back. The Governor has closed a lot of “non essential” business but has not declared a shutdown at this time. The state parks don’t guarantee the water being on before mid month in April due to possibility of freezing. Camping is open at this time but services are winter mode ( Pit Toilets). We drove through the campground last Friday afternoon at Palisades Kepler State Park. 2 campers. Time will tell if a shutdown will be implemented. Hope this helps.

I checked Grand Canyon yesterday and the campground is currently closed and note that campground fees have been refunded, but not ours for June, guess they're counting on it being open by then.

I love the optimism !!
For us it wouldn’t be Spring without a visit to Iowa
Lets hope that Easter marks a change and we can return to visiting with friends and family

I agree, and I like I've said elsewhere, the ban on political talk here seems very interestingly enforced.
