Read it and don't see any answers. Going to turn a lot of people into boondockers out of necessity and many are going to end up preferring it.

You are right, everyone here is entitled to an opinion. But that doesn't mean you need to share it. One of the ways we seem to manage things around here and stay 'sivilzed' is to follow my mother's advice and avoid discussion of religion and politics. Try to stay focused on the core items where we all share an interest: Trailers, camping and poutine, with occasional forays into beer and tow vehicles....

Probably true and not necessarily a bad thing. If I weren’t a retired woman traveling solo, I’d definitely prefer boondocking and will do so whenever I can meet up with trusted others. My little trailer is fully equipped for that eventuality. 😀

Is someone thin skinned and can't take a little humor? I guess so.
Enjoy the journey,

The Campendium website has a closure list that includes both public & private campgrounds by state. Some states have declared campgrounds non essential businesses, and ordered them closed. Interestingly, other states have declared them essential...

Now there are five MO state parks that are completely closed, day areas and trails, due to too many people. These are close to KC and St. Louis. We have a lot of MO conservation areas though that have primitive camping that remain open.
My personal campground in the lower Ozarks remains open.

How is that working out for you Nindy? Any other Escapes ever stop by? Mini Rally thoughts, particularly now with most rallies being cancelled. May have to wait til all clear signal is given.

And here is a very specific closure in far northern MN: Lake of the Woods & Koochiching county boards closed all fishing access ramps to the Rainy river for the annual spring walleye catch and release only season.
The rest of Mn State Parks and Rec areas are open to "local communities" meaning you are currently being advised not to drive across the state somewhere to recreate. And many kid playgrounds are currently posted closed.

It's a wonderful place but so far no other Escapes. I'm there nearly every month throughout the year but had to skip this month due to coming down with some mystery viral illness last week. Hoping like heck it was The Virus since it was mild and I survived and I would hopefully be done with it for this year!
I have hosted a 40-ft giant motorhome and other trailers and tent campers. We had a "Bug Week" event with a bunch of my master naturalist friends last May and are waiting to see what happens to see if it's a possibility for this May.
Oh - and my best friend down there just bought a Casita so we'll be doing a lot of camping together!
I was attending a MO Dept of Conservation meeting last May on another trip at Echo Bluff SP (45 minutes from my land) and ran into Chris and Patricia Young camping the next aisle over in their Escape!

Grand Canyon NP closed
https://www.desertusa.com/dusablog/g...rk-closed.html
Watching the evening news just now. There is a strong case being made to close all NP’s.
Lots of politics involved so we will see how that shakes out.

Ontario ministry of natural resources says fishing regulations are unaffected by covid 19 so if you want to catch walleye on the Rainy River then make sure you're on the ON side of the river
