Hope!

Hi Fred
Glad to see you posting and learn of your plans. There will be better days ahead I’m sure . I know some folks who have already received their shots, and I think it won’t be all that long before things start getting a lot better. I have a very good friend who has been unemployed for four years and I heard today he’s about to start a new job so things are looking up. Stay safe and best of luck on your new project.

Perryb,
Congrats on bagging an appointment. We're Feb.8 @2:54 AM, same place. Arizona Department of Health Services logged ~150,000 vaccine appointments yesterday, the first day of appointment bookings for folks 65-74 .

You are doing better than I am. Kaiser hasn't given me any indication as to a possible date. Not looking forward to hosting in March without my vaccine. I'll take it even if it comes with Bill Gates 5G mind control tracking microchips. --

I'm scheduled for January 29th, but NY is now getting less than expected doses, so who knows?

I’m aware of the chip but that’s OK. My dog is chipped so anytime the Deep State wants to find me the men in black just need to track down my dog.

Just finished watching some television. It’s official our friend Joe Biden has a new job and we wish him all the best. I’m offering my congratulations on his speech that day and in the second photo Joe’s got his right hand on Rita’s shoulder and a bicentennial North Dakota quarter in his left hand that I found that day, gave to him and assured him it was now Joe Biden’s lucky quarter. And it was.

Got shot 1 on the 17th at Cardinal Stadium in Glendale, scheduled for #2 on Valentine's day. Myrl was allowed to jump the queue due to being married to an old fart (Gary is 76) and older than 65. Officials assured us it was their intent to vaccinate those 65-75 if they reside in the same household as the over 75s

That’s an enlightened view and a good policy in my opinion.

i just got my second shot! i run a skilled nursing center so i got mine with the first wave. about 50% of my employees had minor symptoms with the second dose . Have not heard of any of my residents having symptoms yet. So far we have kept our patients/resident COVID free while all around us its been raging. Once it gets into a LTC center it does a great deal of damage this has been a very tough year .....

As a healthcare worker I received both of mine with no issues! I continue to wear my mask and socially distance as I anxiously wait for my new 21 NE!

Mom and I got ours today. She got a little dizzy getting back into the truck but I think it was just being up too long- standing takes it out of you! Not a long wait though and it went fast and so far no side effects.

Very cool, Dave! Are you gonna bag a cabinet position? Chief pontificator, perhaps?

I was thinking Federal properties campground inspector. But the phone hasn’t been ringing today except telemarketers. Maybe tomorrow. I did have a celebratory shot and a pop though.
Whisky and a Diet Pepsi chaser. Livin’ large.

That's the best kind of shot to get, Dave. Cures what ails ya!

But I never touch that 'diet' soda. That stuff's poison.

And Linda and I polished off a bottle of Prosecco. Had I seen your post before, we would have included you in our toast. Now, I guess I have to buy another bottle of bubbly!

Oh, and BTW, since this thread started out about vaccinations, as an old fart, I have my 1st appointment 1/29, and shot 2 appointment 2/26. I robbed the cradle, so Linda has yet to snag an appointment. ☹️

Hi Ray
Good to hear from you and that you’re scheduled to get your vaccinations. Hope I can get back out to the Poudre River one of these days again. We had a good time out there both times we went. We drove up the river as far as the pass last time and looked over some nice campsites in two or three locations. Pretty enough for sure. Stay safe and healthy
