It might be good to remove the picture of your vaccine card. It contains personally identifiable information which can be (mis)used. There are several warnings on the internet regarding this.
Thanks for the tip. Probably would be more Concerned If it had my name on it . I think my identity has been compromised world wide by the information I hear every day about hackers, ancestry sites, credit cards, DNR licenses, and all sorts of publicly available info. Who knows for sure.

We got our first shot at Dallas Fair Park yesterday. We signed up for the 1 to 1:30 time slot and we were done by 2. It was crowded, but very well organized. We got the Maderna vaccine so second one is March 1.

Hey Alf, when I went last week they had a big box of free Granola bars where you waited for 15 minutes after the shot. I got a handful for the free tarp at Niagara next fall but the reaction to the shot was hunger and I ate them on the way home. Sorry

Hi: Iowa Dave... That's quite alright. I can't eat Granyola bars anyway as it gives my Diverticulitis a rum for its money!!! What a "Pain"!!! Alf

I personally now know 4 people who have died from COVID, 14 who have been hospitalized with COVID and multiple who have tested positive for COVID.
Oncologist said I can get COVID vaccine 2 weeks after my next Chemo.

I'm signed up through my county and a local hospital chain.

Cross your fingers! Hopefully in 4 weeks I'll get my first Covid vaccination.

escape artist - I did see bags of potato chips, but didn't know if they were ours to take... I did see at least one person help themselves. Cake would have been a different matter, even a cookie!

Waiting for eligibility as only 75+ can get appt., yet keep hearing about much younger people getting shots. Am not going to complain though- my Syrian buddy said before Covid not to and I understand completely.

Got my first Pfiser shot yesterday morning at the VA in ABQ. It was a drive through, set up behind the big building. About 20-30 cars ahead of me when I got there but the line moved very efficiently. I was out of there in about 88 minutes, went straight then to the nearest Twisters drive thru, for a celebratory breakfast Burrito. No side effects from either.

I'm approaching this same as major Windows updates. Let everyone test them for about 4-6 months, and then I download and install them.
As long as we don't get the bug while waiting for the big trial on the bug fix.

That’s a good analogy. The risk however, seems to be that the security of the current operating system is compromised and virus is bricking it. So, the cost of the delay could be the possibility of bricked computer. We might evaluate them differently but there are risks in either direction.

I did not understand the post until I read it a second time. The word "fair" was what confused me. It was then later that I understood. Anyone?

Simply a typo. The poster meant 'fare' instead.

Now 48+ hours after my Moderna jab #2, maybe a tad bit more sore in the arm than jab #1 but otherwise no aggravated side effects.

I'm just thankful for the opportunity (age-based qualification, local hospital system on-the-ball providing vaccine).

Nope, not gonna change my daily behavior one iota for the foreseeable future (retired living on rural acreage so basically isolating, masking / distancing when I must venture into the world, utilizing all the curbside pickup / delivery for essentials that I possibly can).

I'm pulling for our Neighbors to the North, hopeful that y'all will have all the vaccine you need to actually get it into folks' arms ASAP.

While I understand the current border closing / travel restrictions (appropriate, IMO), for all sorts of both greater-good and selfish reasons I hope we can get beyond that much sooner than later.
