Well Barb has had both of hers now and no issues with the Moderna. I’m a long way down the list. Probably mid to late summer for me.

Covid and 5.0 pickup.

Diane and I have received our first vaccine shots and have our 2nd scheduled in a couple of weeks. Our 5.0 completion date is March 11 and we had originally scheduled pickup in Sumas on the 12th. Later we changed the pickup date to April 12 in order to allow for our Covid immunizations, add a month for any build delays, and better weather for our extended trip home. It all seems to be working out. The trailer is just about finished and I'm going to wire payment next week. ETI is going to FedEx all documents to me and hopefully I'll be able to transfer my old plates from the sold Casita to our new rig, and enjoy a leisurely trip back to RI.

We've both had both doses. Feeling a relief that it's another layer of protection. We got ours in Denton County (North Texas).

Got mine at the VA. The first week in Jan I received an email asking if I wanted one, I checked the box and the next day got an appointment to come in the next week.

The VA has vastly improved the last few years. I'm eligible for tri care as a military retiree (reserve) but I use the VA instead.

We both got our second dose yesterday. Probably won't change our behavior much any time soon, but it is a good feeling to tilt the odds further in our favor of not getting Covid.

Still can't get on here in Missouri, even with being up on the list due to cancer.

I have had #1 moderna , second scheduled.

For what it's worth, I was told directly by a friend who is a pharmacist to avoid taking advil or any nsaid for symptom relief if possible, as they inhibit immune response, and immune response is the desired result of the vaccination.

Slow as things are going in Canada, we have now had our first shots and scheduled for the second early April. The only effects are knowing that we've had a shot - no pain -no ill feelings at all.

While in Borrego Springs last week Susan spoke with someone about CVS in Indio having a supply. Hadn't known we could skip our county's website for appt. On our way home Thursday Susan went on CVS website and got me an appt. for 11 AM the next day in Arroyo Grande. Short line, very well organized. To me this the best way to do it- through pharmacies in smaller groups. Rite Aid, and others are also starting to participate.

No such luck here in MA. 1,000,000 eligible in the current stage as of 2 weeks ago. The state opens the weeks appointments on Thursdays, last Thursday they said they got 100,000 doses. We got in line, on line, before they started doling them out with a position of about 35,000. Somehow when they got to about number 20,000 they said all appointment were full for the next week. It's not the same math I learned back in the 60's.
At this rate it's going to take moths just for the 65 - 75 group, the 75+ group is already done.

I'd hate to be the governor right now. never seen so many groups claiming they should get the vaccine before anyone else. I really hate turning on the news.

After searching like a madwoman I finally got my 1st Moderna a week ago, with second scheduled in a few weeks. Will be great to have a bit more protection so I feel more comfortable traveling at some point. Can't wait!

One dose each

We were contacted by our local clinics. Made the appointments for the 1st shot in February, 2nd shot in March. I got Pfizer, Michelle Moderna (different clinics). No ill effects on the first shot other than a sore arm. Hope the second one is as easy.

Oregon opens for those 65 y/o and up tomorrow... YAY, that's ME. I've created accounts at all local pharmacies and would drive a couple hundred miles... ROAD TRIP... if it means I can get the first shot sooner than later. THAT would be through the State of Oregon website. Fingers crossed!

at least around here, when you get that first shot, they automatically sign you up for the 2nd at the same location, so if you go 200 miles, you'll need to do that again in 3 weeks (pfizer) or 4 (moderna). I ended up going about 70 miles because for weeks there were no appointments locally, so I went up to SF, which I'll need to do again on the 10th.

I would do that willingly. I've hardly gone 20 blocks from my home in a year. ROAD TRIP!

My wife and I are scheduled to get our 1st vaccination on March 4th through Walmart in Cape Girardeau, MO. Not sure if it will be Pfizer or Moderna.

I went on Walmart's site yesterday evening, searched "vaccination" and spent a little over an hour checking through each location before finding one about 100 miles away. "Click" "Click" appointments booked.

Super Simple!

The site seemed to be very organized.
