15' Floor plans back up

Well....we have finally started to work on the 15'. The plug is being made off the 17' mold which will then be stretched a bit behind the door and shortened a bunch in front of the door.

I know the floor plan has been up in the air for a while and I was not sure how it would work out....but after measuring everything out...there is only so much room. We will be using the same shower stall that is in the 17' which restricts where the bathroom can go. The 15' will only be 1.5 feet longer than the 13', but 2 feet shorter than the 17'.

Always open to feedback and new ideas.

Reace

Well, we'll have to see what you come up with, but I just caution that if you add too many choices you will be competing with yourself and increasing your overhead. But, what do I know? I can't figure out how the corner store manages to stay in business.
You could just make the 13' and call the 17' a 16' and make the 19'. Or, you could continue to be successful by producing what the customer wants. Best of luck, but take some time for yourselves.

Yes. Take some time for yourself. The week after next. After you have delivered our 17'.

Seriously, Reace, it is great that you are able to expand your line.

YES!!! Take some time to enjoy those 3 precious girls you've been given (after you've delivered Ron's 17). And don't delete the 5.0!! What a beautiful design, so unique, and a great joy to we who have them. We wish you all the best!

Re: 15' Floor plans back up

Reace,

In the morning I enjoy coffee and reading or email at the dinette while my wife sleeps. Can something be arranged in the 15'B to do this. Maybe a folding stool in front of the waredrobe/closet is all that's needed.

Sitting on the toilet could also work...

Re: 15' Floor plans back up

Hi Edgar

Never thought of that...hmmmm....maybe a flip up counter in the bathroom!!!!

Our family had a wonderful time travelling down to southern Oregon this past week for a fiberglass ralley. This year we took a couple extra days for the trip and we all enjoyed the rest. This year was very trying with the 19' schedule and we have learned a lot from the experience. We are laying down a plan for next year which will allow customers to see our production schedule through an online calendar in which we are going to cycle through the different size models. We have expanded the product line so that we can offer the customer a trailer that fits their needs. So far we are seeing that the 15, 17, and 19 are most popular, with the 13' and 5.0 being more specialized units that will be available through a limited production schedule.

We are hoping to have this schedule up and running shortly as people are already making plans for 2010.

Reace & Tammy

Congratulations! I think you'll do well with all the plans because of utilization of of the same components. The fact that you will accommodate prospective owners is a BIG PLUS! That and the quality sets you apart from the rest. In these economic times people especially want value, since for many it is something that is intended for long-term use. (That is unless they decide on a bigger one).
