19 Build sheet confirmed . THANK YOU !!

well after a long time and planning my build sheet is now confirmed. I wanted to thank all the members that have helped so much with my questions. Also Linda at ETI has an very patient with all my questions.

As some of you know I switched back and forth between a 19 and 21NE. In the end came back to the 19. I feel its a better match for my Tacoma . we do camp in some remote places so the smaller will be handy in remote sites. I think of all the trailer layouts I like the 5.0 best ( not a good match for my Tacoma) maybe some day down the road.

This is what I thought we needed for our camping style, well maybe a few things I really did not need.

19 model

large fridge
ext shower
duel 6 volts
2 solar panels
removable power cord
power awning with light
frame less windows
Added both bath and kitchen window
high lift axle
cabinet door at end bench
exterior propane hook up
spray foam
front storage box
Springfield pedestal
a few usb/12 volt
wardrobe shelves and drawer under

colors oak

counters mineral Jet
floor new castle knights
fabric kelso champagne
of course i have some thing's I going to add myself.

I must say I have researched and put more thought into this purchase than anything in my life. hopefully we get to a point where me & wife could enjoy it this fall.

I think back of my first casita and this will be a huge improvement. I upgraded a few casita's from the one pictured But this will be my first size upgrade.

We upgraded from a 17ft Casita to the Escape 19 last week and I think the Escape is just going to be perfect. A little bit bigger bed. A little bit bigger dinette. More kitchen counter. A bigger fridge. A wider galley and a much more open entrance area. We'll see how we feel about the smaller bathroom, but I think the tradeoffs of the extra room everywhere else will be worth it. Congratulations on getting your build sheet completed -- we, too, spent a lot of time deciding on options. Now the wait begins!

Congratulations on your build sheet! I'm with you - I don't know if we've ever researched anything as much as we did our order. One day I had to call for a 24 hour moratorium on battery conversations.

I hope you have fun dreaming between now and your pick-up date.

Glad you took the time to do all of the research and I am sure you will be happy with your choices. Glad we could help with reviewing our 17. Now the wait!

Now you can update your avatar to reflect your pending Escape. Are you delivering or picking up?

I hope to pick up but thats up in the air at this point with pandemic. I ordered way back in December but picked a mid July date and now date its been delayed To mid August depending on pandemic. I hope to pick it up in August and have a 4-6 week trip out of it. But that may not be possible and it that case I may take advantage of the cheap delivery prices there getting right now.
I tried to update avatar but just keep getting this message Your session has expired. Please login again.no matter how quick i put it in.

If they deliver before September you could attend your first Escape Rally in Niagara Falls, On. We hope this will not be our first trip this year but it is a beautiful place and at least 2 dozen Escapes in attendance. https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...0-a-17319.html

I think you'll be very happy with that combination of truck and trailer. My set-up is similar. And yes I started out wanting a 5.0TA too but eventually decided on the 19. No regrets. I'm very happy to have the option to put a canopy on the truck, which affords a secure space to haul muddy dogs, fishing rods, wet fishing waders etc, as well as a rack on top for a canoe or fishing pontoon. I'm also continually amazed at how small of a space we can get the trailer into, and how easy it is to back it up. On one trip last summer we ended up driving almost a mile down a dirt road before discovering we could not access the campsite because of high water, with nowhere to turn around, so we had to back up. It really wasn't too bad!

I really wanted the 5.0 too. That said, we have a Tacoma and Phil didn't want the extra weight. I love our trailer and can't wait to take it out. Like others, we should have been on a trip; now we are just dreaming about one.

Is the kitchen window standard now? I love looking out that window when inside.

On the 19 the kitchen window is still a option. On the 21NE its included along with bigger fridge and u shaped dinette, so when you add these options to a 19 you only a little more money for the 21NE . In my case i chose the 19.I sure most would have went for the 21NE for the extra room.
