19' with u-shaped dinette

HI....I am curious in seeing pictures or reading comments on having a u-shaped dinette in the rear of a 19'. we want to do this and have it convert to a sleeping area at night. for those of you who have done this what are the dimensions of you cushions seating. we don't want a table here but a spot to lounge and read a book..watch tv...enjoy a drink....Cheers. Re: 19' with u-shaped dinette

Hi Janet. I did exactly what your thinking with my 2012 19.. Tammy and Reese fashioned a rear u shaped lounge seating (no dinette) that can still be made up into a queen when needed. My rear bench is 28in deep and side benches are 24 each. So the u is 32in square to complete a 60 by 80 in queen sized area. Note that the side cushions are 4in thick and reduce the seating depth of the side benches to 20 in when they are in place for seating. The rear wall cushion is 2in thick and is not required for the bed mode so the rear lounge in single bed mode is 26in wide. I usually sleep solo across the rear bench but I also have two 18 by 32 pieces of plywood stored flat under the rear bench so I can still make up the queen bed when I have company. Also note that the square u floor is interrupted by a 2 in abrupt rise that is part of the 19ft design and normally hidden under the full time queen bed.

I'm lounging back there now as I write this note on my iPad which means I can't post pix. I pm'd you my email and I can send you some shots that way. If you know how to post photos you could put them up on the site.
