21 winter hibernation report

The 21 is doing well here in Montana. I did stack cushions on table and move mattress away from wall. Have had below zero temps and all kinds of weather. The trailer is uncovered with all windows and vents closed. Also opened all cabinets. NO sign of mositure in trailer. I did get a dri eze and keep it in a glass bowl on counter. Just one small droplet of water in base of dri eze container after 3 months. I did carefully use a push broom to remove deep snow from roof. Seems all is good. COME ON SPRING!!!

Either of you two ever consider those wheel covers, helps to keep them shiny wheels clean while sitting still.

Hi: cpaharley2008... Trailers are meant to be used outside, aren't they? Alf

I have a set from my old pop up, I've got them on the sun facing side of trailer. Another set will come in time.

Yes Alf trailers are meant to be used outside but I believe in keeping those tires covered especially on the south side, at least I only had to buy two whereas you need four!

I know why you're staying inside today, mighty cold up there, we left home at minus 30C yesterday and arrived in KS at minus 6 but it's going up to plus 11 in a few days so will get all the extra stuff we brought down into the trailer which faired well sitting here since November. We leave the 23rd for TX.

Have a good trip to FL! See you in September (isn't that a song?).

Yes Alf I knew they were new but wanted to keep them so they wear out before they age out!

Robert

We are staying at a small RV park with nine hole golf course just north of Mercedes called La Floresta from Jan 25 to Mar 4 then to your town to put Beth on a plane to Toronto for a family wedding while I make my way slowly back to our daughter's here in Levenworth KS where we are staying until end of March before venturing back to the hopefully not so quite frozen north!
