4-Wheel Pneumatic Tote-Along'

Does any one have experience with the newer Barker. 4-Wheel Pneumatic Tote-Along. I am particularly interested in the 16- 42 gal sizes.

Do you have any connection issues given the height on the tanks with pneumatic tiers? (e.g, Do you have to “pump” the hose because it is too high?)

Please indicate: if you have the axel lift kit; if you are happy with your Barker tote or not; and the size you chose.

Thank you for your help.

Yes. I have experience with 32 gallon model (chosen because it will take the entire contents of either the black or the gray tank without overflowing).
I do not take it on the road. I use it at home to dump into my septic tank if I had no place to dump at my previous location(s).
Pneumatic tires no problem and I do not have a high lift axle.
I do have to pump the hose after the tanks are empty to “coax” what remains in the slinky into the Barker. Dumping the Barker into the septic clean-out is more of a problem than dumping the holding tanks into the Barker because the Barker’s outlet is low. Again some “pumping” is necessary.
Am I happy with the Barker. IMO it is far superior to Thetford’s offering. It is rugged and easily rolls over the lawn, even when close to full. But we all know what the Barker is used for so am I “happy?” Definitely can’t say I am grinning ear-to-ear or I am jumping for joy when I use it to do what is a $#!++¥ job, but it definitely does the task at (rubber gloved) hand satisfactorily!

Thank you

Thank you for your quick response. I like your approach in rating the item. It is what it is; and is hard to get really excited about. In some of the Amazon reviews the reviewers seem to be a bit excessive in their excitement for the product.

I have a Thetford SmartTote2 and like it in many ways, but it does not meet my needs. I think the Barker is a better fit. It was good to hear that it is only at the end that you have to pump out the hose. I have a revised axel and that should help.

I thought about the problem of the clean out being high and the only solution I could think of is to lay out a few boards or blocks and wheel it up to a new level.

Thank you again for your help.
