Thanks Donna, looks as though 230 pounds lighter than the new ones. I would like to get a new one, going to Chilliwack in April to check them out but weight is a factor. Something to think about.

I'd move up to 5,000 lb. towing.

Thought about it but really like the vehicle we have. I see you don't seem to have a problem with the same tow capacity but then your 17b is a bit lighter than the new ones.

If I get a 5000 pound tow then maybe I'll want the 19. One thing leads to another.

This discussion has been invaluable -thank you! The links back to 2015 on similar topic have also been excellent with a lot of "need to know" information such as transmission fluid temperatures, gauges and hitch considerations.
