5.0 with Crew Cab (59 in bed)

I understand some have had success with the Ranger with the Club Cab (6ft bed). We have the shorter bed and are wondering if anyone has had sucess with towing the 5.0 with the shorter bed?

Hi: rjetre@charter.net. IMHO you'd be stuffed with 59 in bed!!! We use a 5' 7" bed in our Ram and it tow's great!!! I wouldn't be worried about the bed but the engine. Alf

Thanks for the reply, We currently tow a 21NE with the Ranger with great results but have been considering the 5.0 for the north-south bed. The Ranger is rated for 7500 tow capacity. I guess the bed is just too short!
