The recent price increase and current economic conditions are offering profit opportunities right now.

Fortunately I missed the last price increase to soften the economic market slowdown a tad. If push comes to shove I could, most likely, sell my upcoming 21C for a profit to someone who has possibly two price increases coming on their deposit.

Gas prices, and they didn't enjoy towing a trailer or camping as much as they thought. Plus lots of people are retirees, and life happens. Not everyone can keep on using the trailer as planned.

Given the concerns of inflation, fuel cost and all it's probably not the smartest thing to buy/own toys right now so I can understand the concerns. But........... We are in and can't wait to get our Escape

Regardless of fuel pricing we are still planning on driving to Sumas, picking up and then spending several days adventuring back home. In late October to boot.

As we jokingly say: "We ain't scared".

I highly recommend visiting the factory the day before and you can do a predelivery inspection. Any errors could possibly be fixed. Also nice to see faces to names of people you have been speaking with. Chilliwack is a beautiful town.

Unfortunately we just noticed that our passports expired 2 weeks ago.

Happened to us too before COVID. Our co-travelers had booked us a really nice spot near Cranbrook and the day before we were to leave, I noticed the expiration date. Could have been worse: we might have discovered it just as we were trying to enter Canada. Now I've added it to my Google calendar. Yup, you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Up north we say skared…

I’ve got a 5.7 really thirsty Tundra, but I’m in the same mindset as you-it’s not stopping me.

With everything going up and up, like hotels and such there’s really no way to escape the cost but to stay home.

Good for us that can afford, but such a shame for those having to sell, never mind trying to do this sort of thing with a average budget or have a family and try to go out on the road.

Brace yourself for the credit card statement, but be grateful you can handle it.

At $6/Gal I'm figuring on $2,000 in fuel cost. Yikes!

IF it helps. Fuel is running about $4.50 a gallon in Oregon right now and we don't pump our own gas! Sit in your vehicle and let someone else get stinky hands

And no matter how many times that I drive through Oregon it's always a bit of a surprise at the first gas stop when someone comes out to pump my gas.

It's especially nice right now to stay in an air conditioned vehicle rather than out in the heat. ALTHOUGH our Governor has lifted the ban and regular folk are allowed to pump fuel during this heat. Although I don't know who'd want too

I like the smell of gasoline. It put me through college. Gasoline in eastern Iowa today ( Cedar Rapids) $3.67.9 per gallon. 87 octane 10 % corn. Went for a drive tonight after dinner. A nearby state park with maybe 80 campsites and 15 tent sites . Completely full. First time I’ve seen that this summer. Nothing notable except a nice Spring Bar Tent. Lots of kids, several EBikes.
