Looks like gold rained down on you!
I do the same as Donna. The wipes I use are vinegary and I haven’t had problems w my hands. But it’s always better safer than sorry.
Someone in another thread mentioned the Ryobi hand vac and it runs off the batteries for my drill. It’s great before the floor wipes.

I do the same with my Dewalt handheld construction vac and drills. Keeps things clean between hand “mops.”

yeah, tahts what I use, too. the plug in 12V ones tend to be quite a bit more powerful than the rechargable ones. the cord on mine is long enough to do the whole trailer when plugged into the outlet at the side of the counter at the foot of the bed on the 21... it can both be used directly, and has a small hose with a crevice tool, good for getting into tight spaces. I stuck a parts cleaner brush (nylon bristle, like a giant toothbrush) in the kit with the vac, this is handy for getting stuff out of nooks and crannies like the ends of the screen door track.

she had a great 12 years, nothing but love, happiest best behaved dog we've ever had (and, ok, first dog we raised from a puppy, all prior were rescues who came with baggage).

1. Our 2017 18 was real clean on pickup. I had planned a shakedown camp for two nights back over the border in Washington then circled back over Vancouver before heading east to Banff. Would have allowed an easy fixup visit to Chilliwack, but didn't really need. Only two beginningproblems: the water heater (dual function option) intermittently failed on gas but we ran out fine on shore power . I called Reace, he said it was a funky Dometic controller board. He got one to me after the trip, I installed it fine with his thorough directions.
2. One of the smaller drawer's rails were poory installed and needed to be taken out and reinstalled. Done after the trip.
This trailer is of overall excellent quality. Satisfied.
Interesting about EMS. Never had that problem but now I know which tool to add to my big ol' tool box!

Wouldn't the EMS/Surge Protector be factory set vs ETI set?

I had no idea John. Our deepest condolences. Coco almost passed from a sudden heart attack about a month ago. She seems to be doing fine now, but the vet says she could last 4 years or 4 weeks, who's to say. I'd have been heartbroken if Coco had passed, so I know how you feel.

I'm sure Progressive Industries is calibrating these units at the factory and it doesn't seem like something that ETI should have to do or check. In reality is appears the issue of these units being out of calibration is quite rare. That said I am going to check ours to see if there is any discrepancy between the actual voltage and the reading.
What I hope ETI has started checking is the propane regulators. Manufacturers say these are set from the factory but they do not know your system design or demand. ETI should be ensuring that propane pressure does not drop below 11" water column at the refrigerator test port with 50% of trailer BTU's in use. This would typically land you around 12" water column with no demand. Once I replaced our regulator and made this adjustment our fridge has been much better.

I don't think the RV manufacturer should have to check this any more than they would check the EMS calibration or the refrigerator temperature regulation. The propane flow in an Escape with factory-installed appliances will not exceed the rated propane flow capacity of the regulator, so the regulator should maintain the design pressure within published specs. Of course it might not, because most RV parts (including propane regulators) are cheap crap and it's unlikely that any factory calibration is done by the regulator manufacturer, but where does the RV manufacturer draw the line on re-doing their suppliers' jobs?
If the trailer's propane distribution system design or construction is such that there is excessive pressure loss between the regulator outlet and the refrigerator, that's a different matter... but is that an issue? It's a (relatively) short run of the conventionally-sized tubing... although it is all 3/8" copper tubing, rather than the 1/2" iron pipe which is traditionally used in under-floor runs.

And, how much more do you want to pay for a trailer?

Hi John, do you have a make and model and/or a link to the vaccuum you use? It sounds like just what we need. How/where do you store it?

How much more does it cost to get a trailer where the components actually work ?
I never saw that option listed !

its this one,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075T7ZK5R/
it all fits in that bag, which fits in one of the shallow cabinets under the closet.
it works adequately but there are some minor annoyances... cleaning the metal screen is messy and requires water and then it has to dry before you can use it again... the main clear plastic part doesn't fit onto the handle as well as it should, requires some jiggling to get on correctly.
