Andersen Coupler Install Question W/Pic

Hi everyone,
I went to install my Andersen coupler with the 1/4” Allen and torque wrench and I noticed two things when done….

1. I torqued the 1/4” bolts to 40 ft/lbs slowly tightening in a circular and cross pattern increasing the torque one at a time till 40. When done, I noticed the “block” does not really sit very level. It’s lower towards the rear. Is this normal? (See pic)

2. I noticed aluminum “shavings” after torquing, is this normal and has this happened to others? The bolts are still tight and did not strip out….yet.

I advanced the setscrews until making minimum contact while keeping the coupler-block parallel to the kingpin plate (IOW, 'even gap') then did final tightening.

Not sure if that's necessary, but my OCD dictated that the gap be 'even', YMMV.

I did not notice any shavings but did find the setscrews very tight when fully advanced even before contact with the kingpin plate. They are clearly not x-threaded. I suspect the threads cut in the coupler are intentionally 'distressed' to prevent loosening (IOW 'self locking' as with certain types of other-than nylock locknuts), which makes torque values very suspect. I could well be wrong.
