Mother Nature is mad at Portland. This may or may not actually happen. Weather changes minute-by-minute here.

2+ inches of rain yesterday, now 60mph winds here. A religious group built a Noah's ark attraction down the freeway from us. If this weather keeps up, we may see if it floats!

At 6700 ft elevation here it's 18 degrees as we speak. Winds have stopped but yesterday's 31 degrees and constant wind made it feel like no place for old men. Even our rescued rez dog knew better than to linger out there. Ready to hook back up and get as far south as I can go.

As painful it has been waiting, knowing that our new 5.0TA has been sitting on the lot at ETI since late December, we are also really glad we did not try to make the trek from Austin to Chilliwack this winter! April is getting closer and closer....

"Le Bon Oeuf" is ready for spring too, and hopefully will find it this week. Today highways closed around here yet again, church cancelled, will have to clear roof of the trailer again before we leave Tuesday. Winds up to 80kmh (50mph) today temperature -2F and dropping during the day.

Definitely ready! The snow is up to the top wire of the back yard fence at 42" and it is still getting down to single digits every night. 40 degrees today though so it's coming.

Hi all .
Washed the trailer today.Roof was cleaner than expected. Will do a good wax job down in the desert. There will be days when I will be looking for something to do.Got the 32 inch Samsung installed and a 1000 watts inverter.Only using inverter to be able to check news and weather reports on TV, and of course if we get a rainy day.Putting King Jack on a mast if we are staying for a while, meanwhile that little leaf version brings in a few channels.Free over the air.Amazing.No contracts.Doing the truck tomorrow and writing packing lists.
Getting closer to take off.Whoopdidoo.Where is that RandMcNally,? I love maps.

High of 77F today had been in the 80's. Picked pineapples last week from a neighbors patch. They are picking strawberries in the fields so they should show up in your local markets soon. The Orange trees in the groves are blooming and you can smell them when you go outside. (Sebring Fl.)

Did some canoeing at El Coyote Beach, but no whales. We did do a whale tour and saw lots of great greys up close. Leaving the Baja in a week or so.

Spring is on the way, it will be up north in a month or so. When the spring weather moves north so will we. Look on the bright side, the good thing about being up north now, there are little or no pollen or bug issues.

-16 below F this morning and I am running out of places to put snow after this last snow storm . Long range forecast shows nothing above freezing for at least two weeks .
All of a sudden it will get hot and then I will be wishing for winter !!
