Any Fulltimers?
Greetings From Tennessee:
Our youngest son will be graduating from College in a couple of months and my DW and I thought now is the time to transition from our TC to a larger unit for longer term traveling. We are both nurses and it is our goal to be staff nursing in East Tennessee in 2015.
My question is: Does anyone use the larger Escape or the 5th wheel to fulltime in?
Thanks for any responses.

I have heard of people living full-time in trailers as small as a 13' (Boler, Scamp, or Trillium). Escape doesn't even have that size in regular production any more! I haven't heard of any Escape full-timers - time for them to speak up if they're out there - but there are at least a few people full-timing in other moulded fiberglass travel trailers, usually smaller than the Escape 19'/21'/5.0.

Jon V from NY sure seems to be full time in his 17B although I believe he has a home to go back when he feels like it.

Not yet, but, that is our plan.
Two upcoming dates of importance;
April 3rd - last day at work for the wife (I retired Dec 1st)
May 28th - completion date for our Escape 21'
We think any of the 19/5.0/21 Escapes will do the job, we happen to pick the 21' as best for us.

No full time experience year round but have lived out of a 14 ft travel trailer for several summers for work in a remote area with no reliable power - trailer was not moved. Was fine when the weather was good, not so nice when weather was bad for long stretches and nothing else to do. I had to be organized and found a good deck/awning was valuable. My 19 is a mansion compared to those days with all the amenities and could see full timing with it for one or two people - or at least long extended trips.

We're certainly not full-timers but the two of us have been traveling in our 19' since we picked it up on Jan 10. We live within an hour of Savannah; if you would like to see our Escape or have questions, we would be happy to visit with you. We expect to be home by mid-March.
