RV Consumer Group....is a non profit organization that rates and reviews all forms of RVs from towable trailers, 5th wheels, truck campers, motorhomes, etc. Much like Consumer Reports, they do not accept any advertising and are beholding to no body.
I saw it on the Escape Trailers web site under "View A Trailer"..... "View an Escape in your area and see why these exciting lightweight trailers have received a 4 star rating by the RV Consumer Group!".
A quick google search brought me to this web page...
http://rv.org/index.html A bit pricey but I wanted to see first hand what the ratings for all the Escape models are and to see how they stacked up to all the other manufacturers. So I did the pay pal thing and joined.
While all the information is proprietary and confidential, I can share with you that the Escape trailers all have a high rating. Not wanting to loose the membership that I just paid for, I'll not share any more than that. But now I know why Escape Trailers wasn't able to post the actual ratings on their web site.
Anybody else use this consumer resource before making their decision on the Escape (or any other make/model of RV) ?
