Awning Mats
My 14 year old mat has fallen apart, need a new one. Had a 6x9 but I'm wondering if anyone found an awning mat that fits the 5.0TA awning size? My 2014 awning is 6'6" x 11', unknown what size the new ones are.
Best I can find is an 8x11 https://www.amazon.com/Mings-Mark-GA...001AWVP74?th=1 but can't say I'm crazy about the look of it.
I've never had one bigger then the awning.
What do you use and are you happy with it?

We use this one (link below). Going on 4yrs now, no issues, we like! Plus, light weight.

I have a 9x12 mat. It folds into thirds and I can fold out only what I want to use. It's STIFF and after folded I can kinda roll it up and carry it in a 4' canvas Christmas tree bag. I only use it when I'm going to be in one spot for more than 4 days. I took the 6x9 on the Big Trip. It's a nice size and fits most of the space under the awning. It's nice to have choices.

Use that size and park one side of the trailer over the excess if you don't want it out in the open.

I don't mind the 8x11 size wise, just don't care for the looks of the few I could find.

I'm not even sure I have a right to make a suggestion, being an incipient 17B owner who has never used a camper trailer. However, I will jump in just to say that I just ordered the following 9 x 12 mat for that very camper. Awning won't be as big as yours, but this might work for you, as well. I think it matters to get a pattern you like - and I bet you'll find one! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We picked one up at Costco, it's 8x10 if I recall. Comes with a storage bag. Easy to keep clean. Made by Coleman. Price was very good.

I use a Dometic Patty O'Mat 7x12 matt that fit perfect under the 19's awning and not to bad for our 5.0TA too. These mats are very tough and resilient. The one I am using is now 10 years old and going strong. MY brother is using an older one I had and it too is still looking fine.

Like Donna, I use a 9' X 12' that I usually fold so that it always opens to the 12' length, and, depending on the size of the site, 3', 6', or 9' width. Mine is a red Kokopelli themed mat that I picked up at Quartzsite during the big tent sale. Came with a bag.

Looks like the Patty O'mat has been discontinued.
Thanks all, going to get the over size 9x12. Suppose if I don't like the one I get I will end up with both sizes like Donna.

outdoor rugs
FabHabitat has some plastic outdoor mats that are made from recycled plastic bottles. We are on our 3rd season with one and it is doing fine. Lots of patterns and most seem to be reversible. Ours is 8x10 (I think) and hoses off.
Nice to find something not that spendy that uses up a bit of plastic.

This is the one we ended up with. We like it particularly in bare feet.
Pick your size. We have 6 x 9 and 9 x 12. Use them both. We also use them for outside yoga in the grass, and they work well for that.

I use an inexpensive 9'X12' woven plastic mat purchased in Quartzsite at the January Big Tent madness. Around $40.00 with storage bag.

We are getting the maroon or burgundy accents on ours. Really like how you set up your solar. Wish Escape would get innovative. Recon I’ll just have to hinge it with removable pins.

We like these better than the poly mats. they take up less space, and hold less dirt.

Problem is the 7 1/2 x 20 id the right width but twice a long as necessary, cut and hem, add grommets, and have a lifetime supply

Bob,
We have the FabHabitat 5x8. Also a 6x15 Prest O Fit. Both are from Amazon and are similar. The 5x8 is much easier to handle and carry. It is also a lighter weight material but seems just as durable. I prefer the 5x8, still enough room under the awning for two chairs and a table.
