I agree they do seem pricey! As with most GPS software, one has to take them with a grain of salt. I have Topo Canada & it relies on info that is seriously outdated. They are just another tool to use. I'm also going to wait & see what others think about them, but they do sound like a good thing, with all the other info on them (rec site, picnic sites, hikes, fishing, etc.) BTW, re the lake on the Island...........we like to keep them that way LOL! more fishing for the locals
