If I knew then, what I know now.. I wouldn't have had ETI mount the marine toilet paper holder. It's partially under the sink. I would have had Charlie make me a couple of trays to mount under the sink and mounted the paper holder elsewhere. Oh well...

I would have liked the covered tp holder, as it would not need to be under the sink. As I have the IKEA one ( STUGVIK Toilet roll holder with suction cup - IKEA ), I put it under the sink with a plastic "bag bonnet" when I use the shower.

Hi Sandra . I saw the same holder at Marine West . I was going to buy it just before I picked up my trailer and was pleasantly surprised Escape put it in my bathroom . I think it was 29 or 30 . It keeps the tp dry . Pat

This is what Charlie makes for the Casita, I'd like one in Ten Forward. On the CasitaForum, someone made a "dust ruffle" around the sink to hide the items under the sink. Waterproof too!

Donna, I found this old posting of yours and was wondering where you would recommend putting the Escape supplied TP holder. I like this idea of a storage tray under the sink. I am thinking of holding off installation of the holder until orientation. I am getting a 19.

I wish it was moved over just a tad. Right now, it's mounted half-way under the sink. Since it's a Marine holder, it's water proof anyway. I don't have a picture... perhaps another member with a 5.0TA or 19' does? Then you'll see what I mean.

Thanks Ed. Were you the person who posted about adding sliding shelves under the Escape 19 bed and having to modify or remove the cabinet door handles because they hit the handle on the cabinet under the fridge? I am thinking about asking Escape to not install those during the build.

The TP holder could easily be attached with VHB tape, instead of the screws that ETI uses. They glass a wood block to screw into, so unless you want to reinforce the whole bath wall on the 19 to mount the TP holder with screws, you're kinda stuck trying to decide before delivery. Personally I would have ETI not mount the TP holder and supply it loose, so I could put it where I wish later once I decide what works for me.

If you live near a West Marine store, you can stop in and examine the TP holder. Think they all carry them.

Thanks, Charlie that is probably what I will do. Are you still making that shelf for under the sink? I would think that a couple of attractive drain holes or slats would help with water not collecting there.

I just realized that that shelf would not work in an Escape since the sink drain goes straight down quite a bit.

Yes...I asked ETI to not to install the two doors, three handles and not to drill the holes. I have my two drawers/bins completed and the door fronts will now be drawer fronts.
I am pleased that the under bed solution that I have come up with...anybody can build on their kitchen table. I don’t want go off topic here and I don’t want to post on it until I get the trailer at the end of April. If you want some pre post pictures you can email me.
Below is the crude picture I sent ETI with my request. Feel free to use it. It was a no charge mod and they will give you everything in case you change your mind.

Bathroom Storage Question

There are a couple of 3M Command shower caddies that we’ve used. This one in our 17, in the corner under the sink
And this one in our 19 on top of the outside wall shelf, also under the sink

This is the one we put in our 19, above the toilet. Had a friend build it, and it's attached with tape.

RV Wigets make bathroom wall pockets that fit behind the toilet on our 21. Photo-Gallery
My wife uses the 21”s shower exclusively, as she doe’s not want to haul around all her stuff that she requires.

We’re using our new 17B for the first time and when we arrived at our camping spot discovered that all the contents of our built-in medicine cabinet ended up on the floor! Can you recommend a solution to this problem and provide any pictures? Many thanks.

There is a tight latch on the medicine cabinet, was it properly closed, maybe needs adjusting? Have not heard of any issues with it.
