If you shop at Camping World, Good Sam membership will get you 10% of their overly inflated prices. But many campgrounds will give a discount for Good Sam members. Passport typically gives you a “free night,” but the membership is expensive and we found there often wasn’t a Passport member campground where we were stopping for the night or where we were going. Many campgrounds offer AARP or military discounts also.

What a long strange trip it’s been!
Looking for recommendations on Campground Clubs to join for discounts and access. Goodsam and the like. Thanks
The Escape forum is probably your best bet. Lot od useful location tips.
Really it depends on your camping style, where you'll travel etc. A lot of people like boondocking and not being tied to prescribed campgrounds. But to each their own...
Good Sam for the discounts, plus we like the Good Sam sticker on our rig's back bumper and Truck's rear window.....it calms the 'heat' alot better than a NRA sticker would....(sarc off)

My thoughts too. As well, if looking for an actual campground I prefer Provincial or State ones, and there are no savings to be had there.
