Beyond design
There are some things that defeat design.
I bought a wall-mount arm for the 15" LCD TV and, I gather, common practice would be to mount it on the fridge wall ( on the 17 ). That assumes that one would sleep ( there's nothing to watch on TV ) with one's head next to the sink and stove. And that makes sense, since you don't have to get out of bed to get the coffee going.
The only problem is, I have always slept with the Old Bag on my left and I get up at least a couple times a night. The only way to fall asleep in front of the TV and have the Old Bag on my left is for me to sleep next to the rear window and crawl over her to get to the john, and again to get back into bed.
So, I solved the problem. I gave the TV away.
