Our bucket list includes visiting all the national parks/monument sites in the US.
Acadia NP and Dry Tortugas NP are on our short list.
We are adding pin points to track our progress.

Alaska.
I've seen Alaska 3 times by ship. I really want to take 3 months and see as much as I can. Denali is at the top of my Escape list.

We take possession of our 19 on June 10th, so number one on our list is to pick up our visiting granddaughters (6 & 10) and return them to our daughter living in Anaconda, MT via the most scenic route we can find, avoiding interstates when possible.

If you do go to Yosemite, try to plan when there is a full moon, the rangers do a special walk and story under a full moon down in the valley floor, pretty spectacular.

The one major thing on our bucket list is to drive the Alcan Highway to Alaska and come back via the Cassiar. Getting the truck and trailer is all in preparation for this. Summer of 2016 I hope. Trailer next August. Also to drive in all 50 states. Just have Alaska and the states northeast of New York left. Loren

Donna - That really is a neat site! I think the fun of visiting breweries/pubs and wineries is (aside from tasting) to hear their history and/or take in their locale. Just trying to find where some of these places are located will take you through some amazing scenery.

I thought so too Jan. I found it interesting the oldest bar in Oregon was Huber's. I've been there many times. Not only are they known for their Turkey, but their Spanish Coffees. It's in downtown too.
I would have thought something in Astoria (where Lewis & Clark touched the Pacific) or maybe Jacksonville (gold rush town) would have had the oldest bar in Oregon. Just shows how much I know about my state

When my daughter was born I wrote down 100 things I wanted to do with her before her 18th birthday. I checked off the last one on her 19th birthday The highlights were photos of her on every state capitial and photos of her at every baseball park in America. My own bucket list has started with saving for an escape and drive route 66 the whole way without having to listen to the Disney music channel

Hey Donna - cool link. Now that would be a road trip!
PS We love Huber's. David Lui, one of the owners, told us once that they are the highest consumer of Kahlua on the West Coast! We have tried to do our part over the years to help them maintain that status!

First thing on the bucket list was a cross-country self-contained bicycle tour. It took me two summers, but it is done. Still want to walk rim to rim in the Grand Canyon, and hike all the "hiking club" trails in the Minnesota State Parks. Would also like to ride across France.
But, my advice to all of you is to do this stuff while you can! We ain't getting any younger.

I would have liked to have done portions of the PNT (Pacific NW Trail), now known as the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (boo), but I just learned about it a year or so ago when I happened to cross over it on a hike. So now it's too late. But I do have one mile of it under my belt which leaves 1199 miles to go...

Trout in a pan
Scratch this one off. Might sound silly, but as a boy at summer camp we went trout fishing at a lake, caught some and cooked them in a pan right out of the lake. It is something I have wanted to do again.
Recently started fishing again, with some success, but have for one reason or another, taken the fish home.
Last Monday I took the Escape up to Lake Almanor, and on Tuesday, success!

Looks yummy, Myron. You can't beat fresh caught trout. We did the same thing last weekend with freshly caught Brook Trout on our canoe trip. Those babies were oh, so tasty too.
