We toss dishwater away from the trailer, usually into the trees all the time. Much different though when someone dumps a whole load onto at gravel pad, devoid of vegetation, that is definitely wrong.

Not sure if I mentioned it here before, but I had a co-worker who after he built his acreage had to use a cistern for water, as no well was possible. A few years later, the municipality rand a water line down the road, and put a service in for him. He was a plumber by trade, and with a bit of work, replumbed the waste pipes so that all grey water went to the cistern, and the toilets to the septic field. He then pumped the grey water to use to irrigate his gardens. The end benefit was free water and lots of green plants, and lots of great veggies. As a side benefit, his septic system got less use.

BLM Bureau of Land Management
They control huge areas of Federal Land some with roads and some not. Many have dispersed non serviced camping allowed. Find a level spot and your good to go. Some is leased for grazing. Beware the cow pies.' Often adjacent to other federally managed property here in the states.

Thanks for filling us in, Dave. Sounds much like our Crown Land. Our rec land is surrounded on 3 sides by Crown Land, and even though grazing leases are held there, they don't run cattle by us due to the terrain, but just 1/2 mile up the road, plenty of cow pies abound.
